Funny you mention the Cinderella complex - My T has an issue with most of the Disney movies for that exact reason - the majority of them have a "damsal in distress rescued by a prince of sorts" and really, show very little women helping themselves and/or women as the hero There are a few exceptions - Beauty and the Beast, Mulan, and a few others.
