People can't fathom what they don't understand, nor have ever been through. Suicide is never a joke, nor is the education associated with it. It's so important to be able to recognise the signs in people who are potentially suicidal.
Whoever is teasing you is cruel, but they don't understand - it's not a free pass to do what they're doing, because it's still wrong, but one can only hope they will learn how important it is to be aware of mental illness and everything that comes with it.
