I suppose that could be the case. I always assume that I'm in the wrong because I don't have a grasp on the mechanics and concepts, and that they must see something that I don't or can't.

I agree about social persuasion.

If House usually "persuades" people in order to save their lives, why are his actions usually frowned upon and/or seen as manipulative?
