So I thought it might be nice and uplifting for us to have a place where we can share our big and small victories while we slog through the bpd jungle. (Edit: feel free to post here even if you don't have bpd.)
Today: Finally got out of bed and took a long shower. Walked my dogs around the park and bought myself a delicious soy chai.
Orginally Posted by sundog: As someone with low self-esteem, I tend to focus excessively on all my failings and all the things I do wrong. My brain just automatically goes to a place of negative self-talk.
I have found it helpful in the past to have a thread where people can list some of the things that they do right each day. So I thought I would start one here and I hope that some folks might feel like joining in! The idea is just to write down any daily accomplishments, big or small, that you feel like sharing!
What I did right today was to make an effort to go somewhere with my Mom that she wanted to go, even though I wasn't feeling good. And making that effort actually made me feel better!
