I have a bad reaction to some of the local anesthetics commonly used in dentistry - I think it's because they have epinephrine in them to reduce bleeding. But it basically precipitates a really high-intensity panic attack. It feels like my whole body is going into shock, but instead of passing in 5 minutes, it lasts for half an hour or so before starting to wane. It's happened time and again. So now they use stuff without epinephrine, and just have to deal with the fact that I'll bleed a lot more than they're used to dealing with.
Anyway, that could potentially interact with bipolar symptoms, but since I can avoid it, I'm going to try not to find out! Doesn't sound like you'll have to worry about anything like that.
