Sleeps has given you some excellent advice and I do hope you are able to open up and share your thoughts and feelings in therapy. If you can't say it aloud, write it down and hand it to your pdoc or t. It works. I do it at times.

Some people are jolted by hugs, even cyber hugs. So we offer them safe, gentle hugs. It's a way of saying I know you are fragile and here is a quiet, gentle gesture of my concern for you.
