Val is right on in her reply. You should be able to expect support from your mother, not having to put up with her making you feel worse. I'm sorry that you were hurt by her mistake. You can only control what you do though, and how you act. I hope you won't let her actions stop you from continuing the progress you have been making. Do you live at home? Might you be able to look into moving out?
