I have been thinking it for a while so I figured I might as well suggest it. Whenever there is a holiday, etc., ie Christmas, Halloween, thanksgiving, new year, threads tend to overrun General Chat. For example at this current moment there are 8 threads just on the first page of General Chat on Christmas and new year, and going through a few pages I've found over 25 threads, including thanksgiving which a lot of us don't actually celebrate because we are from other countries. While I have no problem with people making threads on holidays and celebrations, when they take over a forum it gets harder to find threads that aren't on the subject and it pushes threads on general conversations down. Plus I am aware that there are a number of people on PC that are triggered by particular holidays (for example conversations on what people got for Christmas is a trigger for me as I grew up watching some family members get showered with gifts, showing up with in the new clothes and jewellery they received, and all their new toys, on their way to receive more presents, while I got an average of 3 things because my mother preferred substances for herself). Perhaps there could be a new forum created specifically for holidays/celebrations? There will definitely be enough posts going on it, these posts will no longer take over General Chat (I don't at all mean for that to sound nasty if it does), and people who are triggered by particular holidays or aspects can more easily avoid being triggered. Anyway, just an idea...
