I applied last week for a senior financial analyst job. I got an e-mail today saying I've been invited for an interview the first week of January. The catch is it's a group interview of between 5 & 10 people. I've never had a group interview, but have to admit the idea makes me want to throw up.

I guess one good thing is I used to work in a highly competitive company, where I got lots of informal experience in competing to be alpha dog while simultaneously appearing nice.

You know it's bad when you feel nostalgic for job hunting at the height of the '91 recession.
