Ya, I made the mistake of taking a Women's Studies class.
If we take a global perspective yes, I am part of an 'inferior gender', stemming from patriarchy and gendered institutions. Let's look at infanticide in India and China, there's an obvious preference of gender. The women in these societies (especially in rural areas) are devalued.
You realize that women are more likely than men to be impoverished in the U.S. And that 30% of people in poverty are actually children.
I don't really care if it's biological or socially instilled into children, just kind of sucks that there's a good chance I'll be living around the poverty line if I don't get married, especially if I have children.
