Being overwhelmed is understandable. And it is good that you are able to express yourself instead of internalizing it - that's what T says ('cause I don't express).

I do agree that, and again, easier said than done - if you don't respect these two women, then their opinion can hold no ammunition. Chalk it up to ignorance - maybe they never had a real relationship and that is why they use superficial garbage to express themselves - not like you, who is a kind and loving person who is not afraid to show her kindness and caring.

I have found that a lot of people who "target others" are insecure in who they are and in what their beliefs are.

Food for thought.
