I'm technically native american. I look as "white" as can be. Freckles pale skin and all. But most of my blood is native blood. My mother and my father... Beautiful tans from their native side but me not so much. My daughter has their skin. Everyone thinks she's mixed but really myself as well as her father are the two palest people you will see.
I don't feel insecure because of my race or being a female at all, in fact I believe that being a female gives me an advantage. People are much more willing to help me being a female single mom. As far as my race goes, the only time I feel that other races seem to be superior to mine is when I'm standing in line at the government assistance center. It sounds stereotypical but in my town, it's true.
