I drank myself silly & remained high functioning till I was 35, then did a 6-wk rehab. Got a PhD in Philosophy & Theatre Arts. It was work, but fun too. Had an incredible faculty committee from several departments who hadn't known each other before but all drank & we just clicked. It was an amazing experience.
