Ahhh, didn't even think of flashing lights. They are overwhelming for me too (at night). Not as bad as strobe (which I can't handle at all), but still. If they are far away, it's fairly tolerable, but close up? I have to put my hand up by my eyes to block the worst of it (and still get very uncomfortable and agitated). About a week ago, we were stop and go by tiny increments up to a light (everything had been backed up because of an accident) and there was a police car with lights flashing parked in the next lane. It felt like forever to be able to get away from it.
