See what your pdoc says. He may have another med option that won't make you so sedated. If you're on any meds for your sinus infection, those may also be contributing to the all over medication affect. It's important to be able to be honest with your doctor. I'm sure you're not the first person to tell him you haven't been taking the meds consistently. They know we want to be well, but sometimes the side effects make compliance very difficult. The other day I told my pdoc I wanted to throw my meds out the window, lol! He said "I'm sure you do!" - and then began talking about working with me to possibly reduce or even get me off of them in the next five years. (Me? Off meds?? Yeah, I was a bit shocked, but he was willing to listen to my concerns.)

Hang in there - and let your pdoc do his job. But you need to be open with him for that to happen.
