Again, estranged from mother and father by choice. I have no interest in reversing that process.

As long as I lived home I was never allowed to watch a scary movie without extreme dismay from my mother. Sour faces would start and she would leave the room. From the getgo, I would always be told that there was a problem because Satan was involved.

Just trying to understand what might have been happening.

My wife and I consider ourselves to be God fearing and watch scary films all the time.
