Well not much of a challenge for you, borg! I only found those clips recently.

I always liked thunderbirds but i liked fireball xl5 better. funny because i can';t remember the show at all, i just remember i used to watch it and that i liked it, and i have a memory of the ending credits.

The funny thing about the UFO theme for me... some of you remember me talking about a really good friend who shared many interests with me, and we used to be so silly together and i've never laughed harder in my life than i have with her (man i miss her so much). We used to take long car trips together, a lot of times on trips to rollercoasters, we'd stay in cheapo motels to save money and we always had a blast because we were just so open and comfortable and silly with each other.

on one trip it was late at night on the road, we must have been talking about ufo and suddenly for no reason i came up with lyrics to the song... they weren't related to the show but were an advertisement for the holiday inn chain.

as borg said, it is number 3 on the list above, so you can sing along...

OK it doesn;'t quite fit exactly but we did a better job of it when we came up with the idea. There really were no official lyrics, we just kept singing it for hours and making up different verses as we went along. (I through the above together as an example but doesn't fit as well as it should... but you get the idea.

that had to be 10 or 15 years ago and i can't ever hear the song at all without thinking of the holiday inn. nor stay at the holiday inn without thinking of the song

i'm rambling again.
