dont get too worked up about the results dissociative disorders testing evaluates many different kinds of dissociation like the kind that happens with PTSD or depression or the kind that comes with each of the dissociative disorders, it also tests for the many different areas with in dissociation and for the many different dissociative disorders. Some scores the higher you are the closer to normal you are and other scores on the tests, the lower you are the more normal you are. your treatment provider can show you the evaluation report that breaks everything thing down into sections, symptoms, percentages, percentiles, scales, GAF's and much more. they can also break it down for you and let you know which scores are high because they are supposed to be high and which ones are low because they are supposed to be low. it may be that you dont see major problems because you are interpreting the high scores as being a bad thing. Sometimes it is sometimes it isnt.

Im glad your treatment provider thinks medication will help you. here where I live and work that usually means the dissociation problems can be traced to things like anxiety / depression. if this is so then once you are on medication things will get better for you.

So dont lose hope and take high score as necessarily being a bad thing. keep working with your treatment providers.
