I was eating canned carrots but thinking about how good raw carrots are. The cat is convinced that every can being opened must contain cat food, then when he discovers that some cans contain carrots or beets or whatnot, he gets disgruntled. And I can't tell him; I have to be willing to hold the can down low so he can stick his nose near the contents for sniffing.
