one is probably just as good as the other. depends which one you respond best to. it took me two months to wean off of klonopin after taking .5 mg tabs once a day for a year. i first cut them in 3/4 for a week and then 1/2 and then 1/4, then every other day until i was finally off them and even then i got the sweats and felt woozy. so it may be good to start with your prescribed dose until you stabilize and then slowly work your way down. it doesnt make sense that your nurse would cold turkey you off so many meds, especially off that much benzos. your best bet is to contact your doc and let them know that you are going thru withdrawals and ask their advice on what to do.
