Made coffee and am about to work in a cross-stitch that I began for a Christmas present but didn't finish in time for 'this' Christmas.

Thought about how to end the gift-giving at Christmas because I don't enjoy it. Once suggested we put the name of our favorite charity into a hat and drawing one or two out to give to in lieu of gifts. No takers. So, wondering how it would be if I just said that in lieu of any gifts (presumptuous, I know), to please make a donation to a charity of the giver's choice (and maybe give me a note as to why that charity was chosen/what it means to the giver to give to that charity). I just reallllly do not need any more shower gel. lol
