Why is sadness in my midst
On this very special day
Do people even know I exist
Or do I just feel this way
I am walking down weary lane
But no one seems to care
What is it that has put me in such pain
All they do is stand.. and stare
Will things brighten up for me
Or will I stay out of sight
Does anyone care to be
A friend that I hold tight
Now I give a lonely sigh
And all I can do... is cry
