As i walked i turned my back
On everything i thought i had
Soon to realise it was just an illusion
Somehow created by all the confusion.
Living in a world that didn't exist
Hiding behind the blurry mist
Thinking that i had it all
Thinking i could never fall.
But now i know it was only in my head
And that everything i thought i had, Is now dead
The hope and positivity have faded away
Alive in the darkness is where i lay.
One day all this pain will escape
And my smiles wont have to be so fake.
But until then im hiding away
In the stillness with nothing to say
