Hey, HappyCheeks, Facebook is an interesting place. Narcissists and bullies love it, normal, nice people like you and I feel a bit overwhelmed by it. 2000 friends? How ridiculous and pretentious. It's better to have one or two friends - real ones I mean.

I can tell you are a lovely young person, polite and caring, and sensitive. You sound very normal to me. And believe me - I'm older, I have kids your age - good things happen to good people. Not usually what you expect though! Have faith in yourself, don't be intimidated by these spin-doctors - "Barry Boasters" as my husband likes to call them. Look in the mirror every day, look into your eyes and see the wonderful person that you are.

Whatever is meant to be, will be. I've missed out on jobs I desperately wanted at the time. Now with the benefit of hindsight, I can look back and say "Aaah, now I get it, that was a lucky escape, I'm so glad I didn't work there".
