what i have tried is to mark on my arms where i want to cut with a red marker then tell my self that i will cut later, then i get to procrastinate in a good way. maybe try instead of cutting put food coloring on where you want to cut and imagine that it's blood. stopping cutting is hard so slowly cutting less and then eventually no more cutting is a good method. if its the pain your doing it for maybe try doing something els like holding an ice cube untill it melts or snapping a rubber band willhelp
