I do not feel January 1 is magical but I do believe it can be a good new start. Using a specific date or time period to bracket my efforts makes it easier to keep track. If this week is just as good as last week or next week, I might as well wait until next week to start?
I think my problems with goal setting is I either start too large or I do not have a specific, easy to follow plan that is (1) challenging (2) attainable (3) specific (4) time limited (5) positive (6) flexible.
