The thing that I found most interesting about this list is that during the rare periods of remission from symptoms and when I'm in a more or less "normal" mood state, I do all of these things! (Well, not exactly on #11, but I think my deep and meaningful sense of connection to the natural world counts and it's as spiritual as this scientist is gonna get...) I'm actually a pretty happy person when my brains aren't all bonkers, but I lose my grip on most of these practices pretty quickly during mood episodes.
Anyway, it seemed like something worth sharing, and a good reminder that we can practice skills that will help build a happier outlook on life.
