Hi lokipooh,
I'm sorry to hear about how difficult things have been for you, for the past year and one half.
Getting over divorce does take a long time. Especially when children are involved. (I was a little confused by your post. Do you have 6 grown children, or were you referring to siblings in your family?)
You also mentioned getting a second job and perhaps going back to school. That's a lot of stuff ~ there are only 24 hours in each day & about 1/3 of it should be spent sleeping. Do you have a full-time job now, or part-time? What do you do for a living? You're wanting to go back to school for a degree in ____? Try to pick your worries apart, acknowledging each one. Writing them down would help a lot!
Then put your list in order of importance and ease. For example, you may be needing to make more money at a part time job now, and have some hope for a better future. So, you get a job as an office clerk while going for your BS in Accounting. During, keep your eyes peeled for better-paying office positions that can use more of your experience and/or knowledge. Then when you have that degree, you'll be in a better place to expect higher power. Just an example ~ but, hopefully, you can apply the gist to you in particular.
