I think starting a new job can be a little nerve wracking. You are taking the first step to independence by getting a job. At 23 you are old enough to make a decision on your own as too where you want to live. If you think you can afford it and would be happier then go for it! Sounds like your new job is a ways from home now. Is there a busline near your cousins house?
Don't forget, dropping out of high school is not the end of the career road. You can go back and get your GED.
