Anti-convulsants that are used for epileptics, and bipolars, are also used for people with migraine problems, one that I once was on was Depakote, that certainly does NOT supress appetite, just increases it. I worked with a woman that had chronic migraines, tried everything, then (I don't remember which one) he switched her to an anti-convulsant and it did the trick for her, in fact last spring on the TV news one of the health features was about how that category of meds is now being used for more than just epilepsy.
