Yes it is a common symptom, my eating habits have changed too, but it cones and goes. Since I first had depression issues, a month or two ago, I sometimes don't want to eat much at all, sometimes my eating is normal, and a lot of times I only want junk food. I find myself really wanting stuff that I know is bad for me but I eat it anyway because it's all I want to eat and it makes me feel a little better. This is one of the most annoying things about depression for me, because I am certainly not fat but I think I may be gaining a little weight...
