Well, I did a quick search on The Wayback Machine, and while nothing comes up for "forums.psychcentral.com" (as opposed to "psychcentral.com," which brings up older versions of the main page up to 2003--the rest are blank), doing a search for "forums.grohol.com" brings up about five pages from 2001 and 2003 of those forums.
I don't know if it would prevent me from getting in if I were not a member (I didn't try it logged out), but some links that come up in Google take me to the forums. I'm not a hacker. I just used the Google option to search a site.
Ok, I just did a little more searching, and I was able to use Google's cache of the Psychotherapy topic, and I found a thread from 12/10/04 called "Re: therapists and parenting." In fact, there are several links to various topics and threads.
I'm not trying to scare anyone, but you're wrong that stuff members said won't show up. I tried Googling my username, and that didn't bring up anything. But if you use the right search terms, you can read some messages. I'm not saying they're all available, but I did find some.
