Yes. I had to step back, and realize that these "members" are not here in my home, that no one knows who I am and where I am... that PC is generally a safe site...and what I react to is "JUST" words on my screen.
I stayed at PC to continue to work through my social skills' issues... and need to know that PC is a TOOL for me... a tool. That means I am in charge of how I use that tool. Having the mods' and admin's help to be able to stay and do that... by their curtailing any other non-supportive member.. that helps greatly. But all in all, it's still my job to keep me safe here. I am responsible for my posts, and what I try to say in being supportive. I'm still human, I make mistakes, err in a post, and have reactive feelings.
But, you know? Right now, knowing I'm safe for a bit, I'm doing ok!
