I have had D & C surgery, as well as a hysterectomy, due to my very heavy bleeding.

The D&C was no real biggie, though I was pretty nervous beforehand too. I did expect the D&C to help relieve my symptoms, and was pretty disappointed afterwards to see that my problems continued! A myomectomy was done to remove excess tissue from my uterus, which relieved my excessive bleeding for a while and also allowed me to become pregnant.
