Hi Pumpkin, I think everyone goes through a sense of loss when a family begins to take
the natural order of growing up and independence with their children. I'm glad you are staying busy. It's been years since my last of two left; I began volunteering in nursing homes and making myself useful. Later I even went back to a regular job.

It's amazing how you have to shift gears when there is no longer a young one in your family..priorties are reset and changes in demands are in a new beginning. I can remember when my last one left and I actually went shopping for myself...it seemed
so strange to spend money for me and not for my offspring. We survive it and can
take solice in having reared wonderful young people to make the world a better place.
