AOL and other ISPs have it so that you can have a number of different email names and you can keep changing them. So, having somebody register is not going to make it any safer.
I'm sure a lot of people have registered under numerous of names for all kinds of reasons and unfortuneately some of those reasons will be to play mean games with people.
I'm sorry what happened to you happened, WI_Fighter, it was mean and malicious.
Trust is already hard enough for most of us to give because of issues we've already had to deal with.
Things like that don't help and it only makes the rest of the members paranoid. (Like I need the encouragement?)
Anyway, I just wanted to point out that requiring people to become members is not going to make it any safer. It would be a false sense of security if it were to go into effect, at best.
It's a risk we take whenever we sign in online.
I'm glad you got a new puppy!!!! Good luck with him!
Hugs! Jax
