I call it low man on the totem pole syndrome. I've put myself so low I'm subterranean and everyone else comes first even if it's at my disadvantage. If I say no to someone I feel like I'm being incredibly selfish and undeserving. I give to others what I don't have just because they also have nothing or little. I don't know why I can't let myself rise up just a little?
