I’ve learned that I need to take care of myself because no one else will. I need to take responsibility for my own welfare, my own actions, my own state of mind and not depend on others for these things.
I’ve learned that life is a matter of choice. I have the freedom to make my own, well thought out choices; but I also have the freedom to allow my feelings and negative thoughts to control me. I can choose to live or I can choose to merely exist.
I’ve learned that if I’m not part of the solution, then I’m part of the problem.
