We usually see several tornados close to me every season. I've spent many a night/day running to in-laws and their basement!

Gathering my cats up? whew! Once, God love them, I had to put my big boy (cleo) in a pillow case (all but head) to keep him from tearing me up on the car ride. It was traumatic for him to ride in the car, but going through a tornado might've been moreso. I only have two pet carriers, but had no time to get them and had 3 cats and a dog. If I would've had time, my big boy would've gone in the carrier before anyone else. I've not had any of my cats declawed (personal decision).

I so appreciate the technology now...they show every circulation in the atmosphere and break in and keep us posted.
