Sounds a little like tinnitus. Tinnitus is indeed a side effect of some medications...though hearing anything could also be a sign of mania (or psychosis during depressive; mixed and hypomanic episodes).

I suggest speaking to your health care provider as soon as possible to discuss what you are experiencing. Don't worry...you won't be taken off psychiatric medications, especially if they're helping. The most that will happen is your dosage may be tweaked; you may be prescribed something additional to combat the tinnitus (if that IS what you're experiencing) or they'll slowly begin to change your medication to another in the same class.
