In 2000, they tried it on me, 3 days I was off, it made me more depressed,sluggish,increased and renewed suicidal idealities,zombified, so while in the hospital my pdoc took me off asap.
Like the old saying goes, we respond differently to meds, what works for one may not for the other.
All I can tell anyone, if pdoc wants to try something new, give it a go, you never know, if it will help till one tries.
