to me..i am not going to "friend" anyone i do not know..so that limits the negative comments & such (to the extent that i can not control what other people say..whether on facebook, pc or in real life) ..but if i do find something that is offensive i remove them from my list & block them. much as i would in real life...if someone is rude and annoying i would take steps to avoid them...
there are people here on pc i do not care for..i avoid their posts...
i think it is what ever you are comfortable with..for me it allows me to be in touch with friends around the country in a way that would not be as easy otherwise.

I agree with you, I think it is really good that you have friends and family that you can talk to on facebook, I had about 25 I think but all I could see was arguing and tbh I just didn't get it
I have enough of that in real life.
What you said above you use it very wisely and you make sense,but I know some that don't and it is those that really annoy me, I do use MSN though I don't think many use that these days though.
