He does sound like a jerk. Naturally you will be missing him and whatnot. You guys were together for 3.5 years, so don't beat yourself up. Yes he may have treated you right at times but the other times he was being a jealous and manipulative idiot. I hope you choose to move on from him because you do not deserve that at all.
