I've been hospitalized nine times. My first time was when I was 14 (I'm 41 now) and my last time was almost six years ago. Well, inpatient anyway. I probably should have gone inpatient at the end of 2010, but I only did a partial hospitalization then.

And OMG Venus - what the hell is a cage bed??! No wonder you don't want to be involved with the mental health system there. Sounds barbaric.
