ABA is anorexics and bulimics anonymous. When I lived in Florida they had bi- weekly meetings that follow a similar structure of any other 12 step meeting. I found them helpful. However I've come to find out there aren't a lot in other areas. I took it upon myself to contact intergroup in Canada to see how to start a meeting and get a copy of the bi-laws and meeting structure and other info. The one thing they suggest is that one is in recovery to start a meeting. I called them and explained the situation that there are dozens of people in the general area that would benefit from this type of meeting because there is no where free for disordered eating people to go. I'm still working on it but hope soon to have a chapter in my area.
