get him vetted, get him settled & see if there is an all breed rescue in your area & offer to foster...then if you decide he doesn't work out you have an out.

2 of my own & 1 long term foster...she came as a foster who was a mess..i healed her & she was moved & adopted & mistreat5ed...& then she came "home"..where she is still today...brain tumor & all..& where she will stay until she is called home.

3 is hard, but you get used to it..you are right not as manageable as 2 but it gets easy after a while...sometimes tho...dogs adopt us & i believe those are the ones that are sent to use with a purpose & a meaning.

what's the names of the mountains? perhaps one of them would make a good name???
