I gained after Hurricane Wilma in Oct 2005, and managed to lose it, then with pneumonia I gained some, plus stress with elderly parent gained a few more... lost a few... but then due to "night eating" I have gained a few more.
My sleep cycle is all wacko (professional term?) as is my eating. My stress levels are peaking against each other. All this needs to be balanced out... but most of all this thread can help me to keep track of my eating, I hope. Thus, I will continue to lose the excess weight, so I can fit into my back brace better
A nutritionist had evaluated what I eat normally eat day...but of course only eating once a day wasn't good. Well, neither is eating in the middle of the night. I have gone off the medicine that was causing that (I'll find out Tuesday if MD agrees..) Since mostly what I eat are meals at an Italian restaurant. PPL say oh no, too many carbs blah blah blah. I know I always lost weight the week I ate pizza. Part of that is due to the hot peppers I put on it. (MY metabolism is cranked with hot spicy food.)
This last week I became aware of the 2-90 way of eating. It's called a reality diet or something... and says no matter what you eat if you stick with the percentage of 2 gms of FIBER for each 90 calories, you will lose weight. I looked into the meals that I eat when I lose weight and what I eat when I gain. It fits for me! I HAVE to eat the Italian meals the way I was... full meals, not trying to cut back to lose weight. That way they fit that 2-90,too.
Long post, I know. I guess I'm writing to convince myself too

Ok. Tonight I did go to the dinner, late though I was, and ate a special plate for me:
May 6th: roasted chicken, steamed broccoli, lettuce, cheese, grapes and key lime pie

coffee! (rut roh)
