We are having the same problems with my son's meds. He was on zoloft for two months with increases twice. We were practically yelling that it wasn't working, so they switched him to lexapro, the same family of drugs. We are now going through the same thing with this drug being increased. He has a diagnosis of bipolar with the the clinical psychologist, but the pdoc doesn't like to label children (he's 11). Finally, the last pdoc said they would probably have to switch him to a mood stabilizer next, hello??? that is what I have been asking for!
Btw, I am bipolar and so is my father, maybe a history here?
