Thyroid testing can be a little trickier than some doctors realize. The regular, routine thyroid tests (total T3, T4 and TSH) don't always catch the problems. I've included a link to an article that might be worth bringing to your doctor. They may have already done some of these other tests, but it's worth asking about just in case. The article references dozens of respected medical journals.
