@feary-what you are describing sounds so much like me!! especially when dealing with a lot of anxiety or depression I have a big problem with sugar cravings and just seem to be compelled to cook and bake but lately I have not been able to much due to an injury to my hand so I have just been eating really light, and the last couple of days I have woken up feeling so good, better than I have in ages. I really think that sugar cravings and depression are a vicious cycle and work together to keep us down. if you feel compelled to overeat, can you make it something healthy like soup with tons of vegetables or oatmeal with fruit? even if that only works sometimes it's worth a try.
